PROFESSOR_Q'S PROFILE
I've been a fan and follower of RPG Maker games of all sorts since 2012. My all-time favourite has to be "Love and War: Act I", closely followed by "The Way" and "Romancing Walker". (Yes, I'm weird that way!)
I'm not particularly good at game design, though I can write plot-lines reasonably well. While waiting for the rest of Love and War to come out, I've also written three full-length stories set in the Love and War universe, which you can read over at the Love and War forums. (I go by Professor Q over there, surprise, surprise!)
I also enjoy reviewing games, though I tend to write about games I enjoyed playing. If a review of mine sounds critical, it's meant to spur the developer to do better.
I'm also experimenting with RPG Makers XP and VX, so watch this space.

Just started playing this! It's pretty good! The "movie review" mini-game was pretty surreal. Will have a review up when it's done.
(Oh, and I subscribed.) ^_^

I completely agree. =)
What'cha gonna do, brother, when Yvette and her 24-inch pythons rumble through? ^_^

Er, no, I swear I wasn't, Yvette! I was referring to, um, Pope Francis wearing a clown's nose! (Whoever that is.) Mint looks lovely, indeed she does! She's bound to win the Miss Earth contest! =)

Sexuality and Diversity in games
author=Binturong
I think the main problem with gay/non-white characters, as Chivi-chivik alluded to, is that being gay IS their character. An interesting character is never defined by a single trait. Being gay or whatever should be an ASPECT of a character. It's as much a crime to writing to have a tough, basketball-playing black dude (just to pick out a stereotype...) as it is to have a rogue character just be a backstabbing cat-burglar.
It's boring and two dimensional. If you write a character as a three dimensional person, then there's no reason why anyone should hate a gay/non-white character, just because of that one aspect of their person.
Good point. A character should be three-dimensional. Allowing just one parameter - race, sexual identity, hair colour or food preference =) - to define him or her ends up short-changing your story.

Thank you so much for the compliments! I've seen a number of your reviews, so putting this in your top five is more than an honor. I'm glad you're liking the direction it's heading:After saying how much you liked Mint, I was just thinking, "This guy's about to hate my guts."
Well, to be fair,
that was pretty much foreshadowed by Mint's near-death scare during the previous quest, and we knew right at the beginning that it would happen some day. Besides, I think Mint had a premonition that she didn't have much time left; she was about to say something to Ivy when recovering from said scare.
Besides, I'm a firm believer in authors' rights - you've created your characters and your world, and you know what they stand for and how they related to each other. While it would be tempting to
write a fan-fic where an angel from another dimension saves Mint using magical modern technology =)
I think I'll stick to the original story.
Anyway, thanks again for saying such sweet things; I hope you enjoy it till the end!
De nada! Right now, I'm having fun getting access to the teleporter. Darn rats! =)
