Congrats to all of the winners! I'm glad to see so many games on display this year across so many categories, perhaps more than any other year I've seen so far.
And WOW! Thank you to everyone who voted Soma Union as Game of the Year! I was quite surprised, and I'm really happy that this labor of love touched so many hearts. I'm also relieved that the game didn't also sweep and that lots of other games got to be highlighted as well.

Thanks y'all. This gave me a good belly laugh. I'd also like the thank the RMN Academy, the voters, and all the folks that have poked and prodded me over the years. I'd like to give no thanks at all to my own depression, which prevented me from releasing EJ sooner.

If you don't get around to it, I'll probably try taking a stab at it after this month is over.
I'm really glad i got a chance to check something like purgatory 2. Not only is it the last game that memories of fear translated this year, but it's a game that really expands not only your knowledge of not only what rpgmaker is capable (or in this case, wolfrpg, an fan offshoot of rpgmaker) but the community overall - this is what a good year for the misaos does. You get this great list of games from the community to choose from, that we normally wouldn't hear about under regular circumstances and sort of expands your horizons of what rpgmaker can do, and what's happening in the community overall. I couldn't be more happy with the haul we got this year.
