Description
It's about time we had another review drive, so hey, let's do this!
Rules
- Write reviews for games that are hosted on the site (they must abide by current review standards).
- Only reviews added to the site over the course of the time period will count.
- There is no limitation to what kinds of games you review, though there is an extra badge if you review more than 5 non-reviewed games.
How to Submit
Achievements 
Badges will be given based on the amount of reviews you complete. Each badge has a set amount necessary to unlock that badge and the more reviews you submit, the better MS you can get. You can gain more than one badge, too, with each badge giving a set amount of MS to add up.
The increments are as follows:
01 Review.. - 05 MS - Quina
03 Reviews - 15 MS - Quina + Eiko
06 Reviews - 25 MS - Quina + Eiko + Amarant
09 Reviews - 35 MS - Quina + Eiko + Amarant + Freya
12 Reviews - 45 MS - Quina + Eiko + Amarant + Freya + Steiner
15 Reviews - 55 MS - Quina + Eiko + Amarant + Freya + Steiner + Garnet
20 Reviews - 85 MS - Quina + Eiko + Amarant + Freya + Steiner + Garnet + Zidane
If 5 of those reviews are from games that didn't have a review BEFORE the event, then you will get a special Vivi badge worth 20 MS.
(If two people review the same reviewless game, they will both count as long as the game didn't have a review before the event officially began.)

Question: Any reason the event page says 'possibility' of netting Vivi? Is there a chance you won't get it, or does doing 5 non-reviewed games make it a certainty?
Because I was half asleep when I wrote the description. If you do 5 non-reviewed games, you will net the Vivi badge.

I don't mind shorter events, or the idea of adding a lot of character achievments for FF IX, but the range of stuff to do should fit the time frame. And achievments to get, naturally, as you likely didn't want to give one achievment for each n every step. I guess that was the iffy point during planning.
So .. I may actually dive in there! (if I'm feeling up for it, the cold caught me)

That was actually the part I knew straight off the bat I wanted - being able to get all the badges you qualify for and the MS associated with them being smaller in amount due to getting multiple badges. No ifs on that.
The amount of MS, though, and the 'rank' amounts were a bit harder to pin down, though. Initially I had the top set at 50, buuuuuuuut... even I realised that was too high for a one-week event. XD

Aye. Makes more sense that way. Bad combination with a one-weeksy one tho, because either the bar is too unreasonably low to get achievments, or too difficult a spread (like, one achievment every review would be alright difficult-wise, as it is already tough to complete over the week, but too easy for the number of achievments you, lest you wanna flood the achievment stats)
You got 100 ms for the last 13 at top, so getting less than 50 with alltogether and more reviews needed under a harsher frame was too little.
.. and 50 reviews, seriously? Libby?! Yer joking! : D

I think I did close to that for an event. We were making games AND reviewing them and there was a badge for whoever managed to review all of them, and I went for it.
Aye, that was the strawberry jam. With an extra achievment for reviewing all mcbacon jam games.

Sweet! Another review event – oh, glorious day! :D
I’m hoping that I can get at least six of them out so I can at least collect the Quina, Amarant and Eiko (maybe Vivi?) achievements, since those three guys were pretty much three quarters of my whole party when I last played FFIX. The Zidane one would be nice too, but there’s no f*cking way am I doing twenty of them in the span of only a few days, especially with my track record lately and what’s been going on at home.
But, hey – it’s all in good fun! Here’s hoping for the best.
